Clarisse Peltier

Clarisse Peltier of Oxford, FL, passed away on May 12, 2020 at the age of 96. She was born in Southbridge, MA on June 30, 1923.

She is predeceased by her parents Isidore N. L’Heureux and Linda (Perreault) N. L’Heureux and her husband Norbert J. Peltier. She leaves her step son, Donald J. Peltier of Enfield, CT, son of her late husband Norbert J. Peltier and many cousins in the USA and in Canada.

Clarisse graduated from Mary L. Wells High School in 1941 and went to work at the American Optical Co. in Southbridge, MA. In 1953, she went to work at the Charlton Woolen Co. in Charlton, MA as a clerk. She retired in December of 1985 as Vice President of the company.

She belonged to the Southbridge Evening Womens Club for many years and served as its President for 6 years. She had many hobbies and enjoyed traveling. In later years, Clarisse enjoyed playing golf, Mahjong and cards. She also volunteered at Hospice in The Villages for over seven years.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. A Funeral Mass and burial will be held at St. Annes in Sturbridge, MA at the convenience of the family. Morrill Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements in Southbridge, MA.
