Trolls should mind their own business

To the Editor:

If there is a legitimate reason, talking to the person first might be a neighborly thing to do. So called “trolls” should be ignored.
Who has the responsibility to maintain that and any other, enormous amount of easement? The owner who has the property beside it, that’s who.
Two things:
1. Why is a street easement so huge? Back easements are understandable, but this is ridiculous. His landscape, which is great, isn’t even close to the road. If landscape isn’t appropriate care for the so-called enormous street easement, then perhaps The Villages better get some crews out to cut, fertilize, and otherwise take care of all the affects properties.
2. I was of the understanding that easement property could have landscape, gardens, etc. as long as a permanent structure isn’t build there. Easements are generally to allow access to that area for emergencies. Even grass is landscaping.
So, perhaps the troll could take stock in the fact, that whomever they are, idiots they shall be, and have earned the right to shut up.
