Lady Lake police arrest homeless man in trench coat carrying multiple knives

Lady Lake police arrested a homeless man wearing a trench coat and carrying multiple knives.

Officers were called at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday to Morningside Avenue where a man who had reportedly been involved in a verbal altercation was carrying a gun, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. They found 48-year-old Timothy Douglas Taylor who was wearing military-style BDU pants and a trench coat. The weapon turned out to be a pellet gun.

Police found a large concealed knife in a sheath on Taylor’s right hip. He was also in possession of multiple stiletto-style and butterfly knives along with a red razor knife. He also had extra razor blades.

The Baltimore, Md. native was arrested on charge of possession of a concealed weapon. He was booked at the Lake County Jail.
