To the Editor:
If I were renting to a family and they were not able to come because of closed borders or something more serious, I would indeed return their deposit. If this happened to people that have the homes to rent and their cruise or flight to Paris was canceled due to a virus, I bet they would fight tooth and nail to get their refund. Part of my sister’s and her husband’s trip was cancelled due to virus and the cruise line and airlines gave refunds. It’s a shame The Villages “Friendliest Home Town” is too greedy to step up and say, absolutely, you can have a refund, as I would want the same if I were in your shoes. God smiles when people live by the Golden Rule. Shame on you.
