Members of Villagers for Trump are gearing back up to show their support for the president now that some COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.
The group is planning to hold a rally on Thursday, June 11 featuring award-winning journalist Alex Newman. The event will include dining in the covered breezeway of Belle Glade Country Club. There will be two seatings – 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. – to accommodate all of the group’s members who want to come out and support President Trump’s re-election campaign.
Members can choose from a menu of three entrees. Paid reservations can be made for $30 per person by Monday, June 1 either on VillagersForTrump.org or by calling (630) 272-5850. Reservations will be open to members and the public June 2-8 for $35 per person. Trump gear and signups for campaign activities will be available 30 minutes before and after each seating.

Villagers for Trump also is planning a golf cart rally on June 14 in honor of Flag Day and Trump’s birthday. The theme for signs will be announced soon. Participants will be required to observe social distancing in their golf carts when they meet at 4 p.m. in the Barnes & Noble parking lot at Lake Sumter Landing. Trump gear – hats, shirts, pins and signs – will be available for purchase.
Villagers for Trump also gathered a year ago on Flag Day to honor Trump’s birthday. That event took place at the intersection of Morse Boulevard and County Road 466 and involved close to 40 members waving American flags and holding signs in support of the president.
