Blood drive to aid COVID-19 patients planned at church in The Villages

Lake County is planning a series of blood drives, one of which will be held at a church in The Villages.

Lake Support and Emergency Recovery is hosting the events throughout the county in an effort to support patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Advance registration is advised.

The blood drive in The Villages will be held Wednesday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Timothy Catholic Church, located at 1351 Paige Place. To register online, visit
