An intoxicated Continental Country Club woman was arrested after allegedly pushing a man.
Kimberly Ann Ervast, 53, of Wildwood, was arrested shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of battery.
The man said he and Ervast had been arguing about her drinking when she became “irate” and shoved him four times, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
When a deputy arrived on the scene, he confirmed that Ervast appeared to be intoxicated. She said she had been arguing with the man, but had gone into another room to try to get away from him.
She was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. Bond was set at $1,000.
