To the Editor:
I am very concerned about the decision to not rebuild Hacienda Hills Country Club. When we bought in 2001 we were told every championship course had a country club that all residents were members. All championship courses have a restaurant and a pro shop.
The Developer is taking away one of the country clubs without a backward thought to what was promised to property owners of this great community.
Chiseling away at places we gather with family and friends, of places that actually were reasons for buying here in the first place, it is not conducive to the “friendliest town” atmosphere.
Having a public forum during a pandemic is also not a wise idea. Maybe they planned it that way? Who is to say?
In my opinion, rebuilding a country club at the Hacienda Hills site is the only legal solution the Developer has.
