Robert Rohlf

Robert (Bob) Rohlf passed away peacefully on September 16, 2020 in Florida.

Born at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York City on June 20. Graduated from Tuckahoe High School in 1957 and Florida Southern College, Lakeland, FL in 1961.

Bob worked for a Food Broker, owned a “white glove” restaurant in Palm Beach, and then went back to New York to work as Comptroller for a fish restaurant chain. He also worked independently doing Accounting services for small businesses. He resided in Eastchester for many years.

Bob enjoyed golf – played in Scotland, Ireland and Portugal and attended many championships. He also played volleyball and travelled to Texas and Hawaii to compete. He was the MVP his freshman year at Florida Southern.

He will be remembered by his golfing buddies on Wednesdays in The Villages and in Eastchester at Lake Isle.

Bob was a long-time Turner member of the Mt. Vernon and New York Turn Vereins. He was a 6o year member of the American Turners in Throggs Neck, NY. Bob was also the Treasurer of The NYTV 1850 Foundation, Inc. affiliated with the Turners.

He is survived by his brother Peter (Lynn), a sister, Donna, two nephews, Peter Hans Rohlf (Tammy), (their children Brynn and Zachary), Gregory E. Rohlf (Najia), (their children Yassmine and Alexander) and Donna Rohlf’s daughter, Beth Geller.

Rest in Peace Bob.
