We went to Spanish Springs Square Tuesday. They’ve eliminated happy hour, as announced. Another terrible decision.
Nobody was buying drinks! Which generates more profit? One drink at $5 profit or 10 drinks at $1 profit. The drink sales should at least cover the cost of the staff. Amenities fees cover the band.
Happy hour used to be one hour because of the 500 attendees instead of 60 at any one time now. The Villages should reinstate happy hour for 30 minutes. That time would be sufficient. They will make more money and gain better publicity.
