Resist masks

To the Editor:

The CDC quietly stated that deaths initially contributed to COVID-19 are really only 6 percent of the reported numbers. At the time that was about 159,000 and 6 percent would be about 9,500, far less than the average number of seasonal flu deaths each each which is about 35,000.
The #ElectionInfection has no basis in infectious disease protocol. It’s a trick to scare Americans into willingly giving up their freedom for the false hope of safety. And we end up losing both.
Since when did common sense tell us that paper or cloth would protect us from a “deadly disease?” It’s laughable.
Quarantine is ONLY for the sick.  If you are healthy and “the government” is telling you to socially isolate/quarantine, beware! You are being tricked into giving up your liberty and freedom. The sick and scare are free to socially isolate and wear masks forever. The rest of us should get back to normal.  Let herd immunity happen.
Resist masks.
More than 99 percent of people either survive COVID and/or never know they became positive or very mild symptoms.
Resist the “new normal” and get back to normal.
