Forgiveness for PPP loans for small businesses

Congressman Daniel Webster

A new, streamlined loan forgiveness application is now available for small businesses that received a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan! This application can be used by small businesses that received a loan of $50,000 or less. Click here to download the new application. For information about completing the forgiveness application, click here.

The PPP has supplied over 5.2 million loans worth $525 billion to small businesses, providing relief and support for more than 51 million jobs. This new application simplifies the forgiveness process and strengthens protections to prevent fraud or misuse of funds. Through this action, the Trump administration is carrying out Congressional intent and keeping its promise to small businesses and American workers. The PPP has been a tremendous success, and this new application is another tool to help small businesses get through this unprecedented time.

As a small business owner, I know the challenges owners face daily and while I did not take a PPP loan for my business, I have been a strong champion of the program. Supporting our small businesses and their employees is one of my top priorities, if you are a small businesses owner with questions about the PPP, please contact my office at 352-241-9220.
