Villager says ‘new blood’ needed in CDD 5

To the Editor:

I would like to send a message to everyone regarding their Nov. 3 vote. There is one vote on the ballot pertaining directly to my district, District 5. Voters are eligible to vote their preference between incumbent Chuck Wildzunas and a new person seriously interested in serving on that board. The other two incumbent members whose terms expire this year, Walter Martin and Jerry Ferlisi, are not opposed and will automatically win their seats for another four year term. I have attended many District 5 Board meetings over the years and Chuck has been there for more years than the last four.  I suggest it might be well for District 5 to have an adjustment to its membership. That said, I urge voters to choose Reed G. Panos as the “new blood” on that Board. Mr. Panos has a remarkable history of expertise and leadership from his college years through 24 years as an Air Force surgeon retiring as a colonel. Vote For Reed!
