Biased, slanted ‘news’ reporting

To the Editor:

I am appalled at the Village-News.com continuously, and  enthusiastically, promoting  Panic Porn regarding COVID-19 in The Villages. Your “news” coverage of the terrific presidential visit here is nothing but the worst sort of garbage dug up from the bottom of the barrel.
Every single attendee at the presidential rally was tested for temperature, then handed a complementary mask upon entry.  Every person in that crowd had a mask;  to wear it full time or part time was their own choice. Your inflammatory article focused solely on quoting people from the opposite political persuasion–people who are being fed the Panic Porn by your reporting daily of the numbers without context and are stupid enough not to question the validity of same. If we called this event a “Peaceful Protest” these fools would not have blinked an eye; they would condone protesting.  Where was their concern when the radical left were out in multitudinous force,  burning buildings and assaulting our police force?
