Large sinkhole opens up near postal facility in The Villages

A large sinkhole has opened up near a postal facility in The Villages.

The sinkhole, which is about 10 feet wide and about 5 feet deep was cordoned off with orange tape Wednesday near the Village of Summerhill postal facility.

A sinkhole has opened up near the postal station in the Village of Summerhill.

The sinkhole is located near the intersection of Woodridge Drive and Davenport Drive.

The property in question is located in Community Development District 3.
