To the Editor:
For 10 months we have listened to Republican leaders dismiss the COVID-19 pandemic. They and their supporters have made fun of those choosing to follow Dr. Fauci’s recommendations to wear a mask and social distance. Meanwhile, Trump and his minions have attended super spreader political rallies and White House parties.
Why are our Republican leaders now demanding to be first in line for a vaccine for a hoax? Mike Pence, Lindsay Graham and our own Marco Rubio have gotten vaccine for a pandemic they denied and dismissed. Why? They should have been denied this potential life-saving treatment until all Americans have been vaccinated.
