Lloyd Larry Olson

Lloyd Larry Olson, age 75, died suddenly, February 18, 2021 at the Villages hospital in Florida.

Larry, as everyone called him, is survived and will be loved always by his wife of 57 years, Peggy (Jacobs). Two children, Jeffery Olson (Katheryn Renwick) of The Villages, FL. and Shelley (Mark) Haugh of Prior Lake, MN. Seven grandchildren, Jessica,Whitney and Breanna Olson of Lakeville, MN. Tona (Sean) Kopas, Jonathan, Joshua and Joseph Haugh all of Prior Lake, MN. Two great- grandchildren, Kade and Coen Kopas. Also survived by seven sisters. Larry loved and was so proud of his family and was looking forward to a third great- grandson, due in March. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.

Larry was born, 1-12-1946 in Rapid City, S.D. to Orville and Lucille Olson. He graduated in 1964 from Lakeville High School, Lakeville, MN. Larry worked as a driver for Apple Valley Ready-Mix (AVR) in Apple Valley, MN, for 43 years. Larry was always the guy to go to for help fixing just about everything.

Larry enjoyed golf, fishing, throwing horseshoes and playing cards with friends, and occasionally country dancing with his wife. His large family and many friends will miss his contagious one-of-a kind laugh.

A memorial service and celebration of Life is being planned for late spring In Minnesota.
