Too many residents from the south flooding executive golf courses

To the Editor:

I am writing this letter to The Villages Golf Senior Management Team. As best I can determine the following new Villages have been opened south of State Road (excluding Fenny area) and south of the Florida Turnpike: Lowlands, Citrus Grove, Branham, St. Catherine, Camdyn, Fussell, Chitty Chatty, De Luna, De Soto, Linden, Bradford, Hawkins, McClure and Monarch Grove.
With all these new Villages there is not one adjacent executive golf course to support the population.
The lack of courses to support those Villages significantly impacts all the other courses. Tee times can be exceedingly difficult to get even if you request a tee time seven days in advance. We have had to disband a neighborhood golfing group, that we have enjoyed for over five years, because of the difficulty getting tee times. This is not The Villages we moved to six years ago. In addition, I sent a message to The Villages Leadership Team with the same concerns but have not heard anything from them.
