To the Editor:
On Saturday, April 3,I suffered a fall in the Kohls parking lot in Lady Lake. As I lay stunned on the pavement, a gentleman came over to assist me. Within a few minutes he asked if I could sit up. As I did he offered support to keep me upright and steady. Within a few minutes, he called for an ambulance and it came quickly.
The EMTs took care of me and evaluated me and asked if I wanted to go to the hospital which I declined.
A couple, Villagers from Duval offered to get me home. The lovely woman took my car keys, put me in my car. and drove me home. Her husband followed behind in their vehicle. They delivered me home right to my front door, recommended that I go to the ER and said goodbye.
I wish again to thank these people for their care and concern and kindness. Also, I wish to thank the Lady Lake EMTS for their very professional and prompt care.
