Bad Parking is not the American way

To the Editor:

Regarding the article “Bad Parking shows entitlement and ignorance on full display,” you should not be in the business of shaming people on a public forum for doing something you disapprove of.
Yes, it is appalling the way people drive down here, but it is not your place to shame them for it. It is for the police to write tickets. Society has rapidly moved into an era where we are willing to put people in the “stocks” so they can be shamed before the public on many levels. This newspaper does not need to join in on the behavior. The accused have no means of defense. That is not the American way.
