Poor conditions at Mallory Championship Golf Course

To the Editor:

Played Mallory (Virginia) on Sunday. Have never seen a course in this poor condition in my 15 years living in The Villages. Tee boxes were barren of grass and over run with crab grass. Fairways not much better. Greens also in very poor shape. Whoever is in charge of maintenance should be fired.
