A Wisconsin woman was arrested after a K-9 alerted on her vehicle during a traffic stop in Oxford.

Kimberly Ann Gale, 56, of Superior, Wis. was driving a red PT Cruiser at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday when she rolled over a solid white stop bar near the Tikki Hut on County Road 466, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. An officer noticed the vehicle’s taglight was not working properly.

An officer initiated a traffic stop at County Road 466 and County Road 209 and summoned the K-9 unit. During the traffic stop, Gale dropped a tube which contained a white powdery substance which tested positive for cocaine. She was also found to be in possession of a Suboxone pill for which she did not have a prescription.

She was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment. She was issued a written warning for the taglight violation

Gale was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. Bond was set at $5,500.
