They destroyed Spanish Springs so we moved

To the Editor:

When my wife and I moved to The Villages in 2009 we had Church on the Square, Katie Belle’s and Cattle Baron Club. Then things started changing, first Church on The Square, then Cattle Baron Club closed and Katie Belle’s moved upstairs and I wonder how much that cost. Then they closed Katie Belle’s so, in effect, Spanish Springs was gone.
My wife and I would go to Katie Belle’s at least three times a week. Food was great, entertainment was great (Tony D). We could even handle traffic on Morse Boulevard. Now they want apartments.
So in May of this year being 79 and 80 years old we moved to Melbourne, Fl. Enjoy.
