F. Neil Hartzell, 82, died on August 30, 2021 at his home in the Village of Country Club Hills, after fighting lung cancer. He and wife Lorraine moved to The Villages in 2006 from Galesburg, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine, four children, Tony (Vanessa), Joe (Sally), Bernadine (Roland) White, and Ronda (Chad) Chamberlain, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, and a grandson.

Neil served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957-1961, and was employed by UPS for 32 years, retiring in 2001.

His cremated remains will be buried in Galesburg, IL in October.

A Celebration of Life will be held in The Villages, date yet to be determined. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or St. Joseph’s Indian School.
