Escambia Executive Golf Course and Moyer Pool remain closed in wake of sinkholes

The Escambia Executive Golf Course and the Moyer Recreation Center swimming pool remain closed until further notice for the repairs to the water retention basin located behind the Moyer Recreation Center.

Large sinkholes opened up July 10 and drained a pond behind the recreation center in the Village of Pine Ridge. The pricetag for fixing the sinkholes is approaching a half a million dollars, with the bill being footed by the Project Wide Advisory Committee.
