Gerald (Jerry) Tyrie has passed away at the age of 87 on April 18th, 2022, in The Villages, Florida. Jerry is survived by his wife Alice of 57 years and their 3 daughters. Collette(Pat)Scott, Michelle(Anthony) Pergola and Heather(Robert)Koch: 6 grandchildren: Shaylyn,Tyrie, Jax, Ava, Connor and Spencer. Jerry is also survived by his 3 brothers, Robert, Richard and Walter.

Jerry was born March 23,1935 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn N.Y. He graduated from Straubenmuller Textile H.S. New York City, NY in 1953 and retired from the N.Y.C Sanitation Dept. in 1989. He was an avid bowler. He enjoyed golf, softball, swimming and and early morning Coffee at Starbucks with his good coffee mates. Keep on bowling and knocking down all those pins Jerry, you will be loved and missed forever.

Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at a later date.
