Sharon Holbrook Allen, 81, of The Villages, FL, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022.

Sharon was born in Bath, Maine, the daughter of Gordon Holbrook and Rebecca Miller. Sharon worked for the Maremont Corporation in Saco, Maine for several years as an administrative assistant before relocating back to her hometown of Bath, Maine in 1979, where she worked for Bath Iron Works Corporation for 16 years as a data entry operator. Sharon had a passion for writing, and published five books during her retirement, the last one co-written with her son, William.

Sharon is survived by her Husband, Gordon Allen, of The Villages, four children, two daughters, Robin Curtis of Brunswick, Maine, and Stacy Johnston of Clayton, North Carolina, two sons, Chad Collins of The Villages, Florida, and William Snow of Clayton, North Carolina, a son-in-law, Scott Turner of The Villages, Florida, two granddaughters, Quinn Dubord and her husband Eric Dubord, of Brunswick, Maine, and Laramie Gameon of Midway Park, North Carolina, 4 great grandchildren, Baylee and Brady Dubord of Brunswick, ME, and Zakkai Johnston, of Midway Park, North Carolina, and Kaydence Garnett, of Richmond, Maine, at stepson, Mark Allen of Virginia, and a stepdaughter, Kimberly Brown of Virginia. Sharon was preceded in death by a grandson, Dustin Johnston, of Three Forks, Montana.

Sharon will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Though she may be gone, she will never be forgotten. Sharon requested that there be no memorial service, and she will be placed to rest back home in Bath, Maine.
