Villagers should not pay for replacement of windmill and water tower

To the Editor:

Village residents should NOT have to pay for the construction of a replacement tower and windmill at Brownwood. They are there because the Developer wanted Brownwood to have some memory connection of where they used to live. They have no purpose nor function. For the safety of residents, amenity fees should be used to tear down BUT NOT reconstruct replacement objects.

Hal Opdyke,
Village of Buttonwood
