Our dear mother, Grace Shelley, sadly passed away on Wednesday September 14, 2022 at the age of 79. Grace was born in Queens, New York on October 21, 1942. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community of The Villages for more than 20 years and most recently, at Steeplechase Retirement Community.
Grace loved her family, her friends, and traveling to see her grandchildren! Grace spent many of her 20 years in the Villages enjoying all the town square activities specifically line dancing. She was an active member of book clubs and really enjoyed the “Dine” part of the golf group “Nine and Dine”.
She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Eugene “Bud” Shelley. She is survived by son Daniel wife Renee, daughter Maureen husband Patrick, son Eugene wife Karen, son Timmy spouse Steven, daughter Kerry husband Craig.
Grace’s pride and joy are her 10 grandchildren: Laurel, MaryEllen, Daniel, Russell, Patrick, Alyssa, Kimmi, Matthew, Dylan, Kristen and Owen, the first great grandchild.
