They are draining off our Social Security increases

To the Editor:

It’s been three months since the majority of our fellow Villagers have received a much needed Social Security increase and now every business we rely on (gas, electric, water and amenities) wants carte blanche to it. Does this seem odd to anyone else? There’s no getting ahead.
