Philip (Phil) Eugene Giberson, age 85, of The Villages, Florida passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

He was born in Jackson, Michigan on September 2, 1937. Phil attended Michigan State and Hillsdale College. He was employed by the University of Michigan as a Football Recruiter, and was also a mortgage broker and a gentlemen’s tailor. Phil loved golfing and singing, and was a major sports enthusiast! He was a member of the Scottish Rite Masonry in Detroit, Michigan.

Phil was preceded in death by his parents Philip E. and Ellen Gertrude Giberson.

He is survived by his Wife Nancy Kay Giberson; Son and Daughter-in-law Alex and Pia Giberson; Granddaughter Sidney Giberson; Daughters Kacie Boeshore and Kellie Umpirowicz; and Step-Daughter Heather Warmus.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Live Oaks Community Church at the Southern Oaks Campus, 5600 Heritage Boulevard, Wildwood, FL 34785.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Phil’s memory to the Live Oaks Community Church at www.liveoakschurch.org and/or the Alzheimer’s Association at www.act.alz.org and/or www.ncumcfl.com to the attention of the Alzheimer’s Ministry.
