A golf cart driver was traumatically injured in a collision with a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in The Villages.
The crash took place at about 4 p.m. near the postal station in the Village of Alhambra. The golf cart overturned in the collision.
The driver of the golf cart was transported by ambulance as a trauma patient to Ocala Regional Medical Center.
The investigation into the crash is being conducted by the Florida Highway Patrol.
