Three good reasons for checking IDs at the swimming pools

To the Editor:

I feel IDs should be checked at the swimming pools.
First and foremost, because we pay amenity fees.
Second, for security reasons.
Third, liability reasons.
IDs are checked for all activities at the recreation centers. Why should the swimming pools be any different?
If our visitors are going to use the facilities, then get them a pass.
