Is all the growth really worth it?

To the Editor:

What are the Lady Lake commissioners thinking? A new Walmart Neighborhood Market along with housing developments and apartment buildings. Eighty-two new homes on the soon-to-be annexed farmland. God knows what the outcome of the rezoning of Grand Oaks will be. Where is the town ever going to get the money to pay for all the traffic policemen to handle the inevitable gridlock not to mention the costs of widening of roads and building new schools? Have the commissioners never heard of the term “quality of life?” The citizens of Lady Lake are dancing with the devil known as progress led to the dance floor by our commissioners.
