Villager and his golf group have close encounter with alligator

Bruce Smith was golfing with his Buttonwood Heights Thursday group when they had a close encounter with an alligator.

Smith sent a photo to Villages-News.com and this is what he had to say:

Yes, my ball at my feet, and yes, I played it,” Smith said.
