The Villages Charter School has scheduled a makeup day after canceling classes due to the threat of Hurricane Helene.
The charter school canceled classes on Thursday due to the anticipated arrival of the hurricane. A makeup day has been scheduled for Monday, Oct. 14.
Charter school classes were expected to resume, Friday, Sept. 27.
Classes at Sumter County Schools were canceled on both Thursday and Friday.
