Anybody can press a button and enter The Villages

To the Editor:

I appreciate the sense of security that passive gates and those with gate attendants provide.
But, the gates are for traffic control only because anyone can press the unattended resident gate red button and get through. So, why do we need gate attendants in the middle of the night or at all? Save the money!
