Government employees working in Brownwood will add to traffic and overcrowding

To the Editor:

I think The Villages Developer has lost sight of the dream. Florida’s Friendliest Hometown is turning into a massive traffic nightmare. Parking at Brownwood is overcrowded and with the addition of more people working there, along with the new hundreds of apartments being built, the Brownwood Square has lost its shine. I think money would be better spent to build a golf cart parking garage. There is a reason The Villages lost their No. 1 status for a retirement community. Now it’s all about the Developer and not the lifestyle.
