Unwanted medicine will be collected Saturday in The Villages

Unwanted medicine will be collected Saturday at Walmart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza in The Villages.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office will be collecting expired and unwanted medicine from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. near the garden center at the store. No needles or liquids will be accepted.

The medicine will be collected for safe disposal.
