Here’s why home prices have been dropping in The Villages

To the Editor:

Why have prices been falling in The Villages? Financing! A gorgeous house in our village has had two offers on it, so I’m told. They both fell through because of financing problems. With rates coming down, things will get better. Confidence in the economy should improve and buyers will be back. Prices will go up. Economics 101.
