She was caught on a Ring doorbell camera on Dec. 12 when she went to a home in The Villages and knocked on the front door, according to an arrest report. She activated the Ring doorbell which showed her taking two envelopes which contained a $200 check and a $20 bill meant as a Christmas tip for the landscaper.

A detective used the images captured by the doorbell camera and compared them with images contained in the law enforcement database. The detective found a match of an image of Khatri, who had been arrested last year when she was caught riding an unregistered moped.

She was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center.
