A 79-year-old Stonecrester was nabbed after allegedly trying to steal jewelry and lip liner from Belk at La Plaza Grande in The Villages.
Patricia R. Bogan entered the store Tuesday afternoon, selected several items and put them in her front right pocket, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. She was confronted by the store’s loss prevention agent as she attempted to leave.
She was found to be in possession of two rings, a necklace and lip liner taken from the store. Bogan was issued a notice to appear in court. She was also told to stay out of Belk.
