Two vehicles collide on County Road 466 temporarily shutting down westbound traffic

An accident shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday backed up traffic on County Road 466 and nearby Rolling Acres Road.

The accident involved two vehicles and occurred in front of the Sunset Professional Plaza on County Road 466.

Both vehicles had been traveling west on County Road 466 when one of the vehicles changed lanes and the vehicles collided with each other, according to the Lady Lake Police Department.

County Road  466 westbound was shut down temporarily due to both vehicles being inoperable blocking all travel lanes westbound. 

No serious injuries were reported.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
