To the Editor:
I was in my golf cart at Colony Plaza on March 20 returning to our home in Hemingway . I had bought some ice cream at Peach Way and was traveling on the road south of Publix. A lady turned in front of me and I locked my brakes and skidded probably eight feet sideways and almost struck her blue car. She never looked at me or stopped, she kept going and turned in the Publix parking lot. I looked back at her car and she had turned in the wrong lane for entering the parking lot. Why are we all in such a big hurry that we can’t help look out for each other? Then tonight we were down at Brownwood and someone in a car had parked right in the middle of the white line. It didn’t used to be this way, just look at all the accidents in The Villages of all kinds.
