Breakfast celebration honors Villager’s first hole-in-one

Villager Rolando Gonzales on July 14 achieved what is every golfer’s dream, a hole-in-one.

It was his first hole-in-one after only playing golf for a year. Gonzales never played golf until he moved to the Village of Fernandina two years ago. The lucky ace was scored at the Pimlico Executive Golf Course at Hole #3 at 132 yards using a 6-iron.

Rolando Gonzales’ hole-in-one was celebrated over breakfast.

An impromptu breakfast with close friends was held to celebrate the special occasion.
