Clarence Nottingham ‘Chuck’ Churn

Clarence “Chuck” Nottingham Churn, Jr., 87, a resident of Lady Lake, Florida, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 at his home in Water Oak.

Mr. Churn served in the U.S. Army, an Major League Baseball player for almost 20 years and a farmer on the Eastern Shore and Florida.

A native of the Eastern Shore of Virginia, he is survived by his wife, Rita S. Churn; son, Charles C. Churn; a step-daughter, Monica Johnson; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Eliza Cox, Lucy Ames, and Barbara Willis.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 900 Main Street, Ste. 208, The Villages, FL 32159 or the SPCA.
