Community Development District 4 Supervisor Jim Brockman will resign from his seat effective Sept. 14.

He said he is moving out of The Villages to move closer to family.

The board will seek applications and applicants will be interviewed at the Sept. 14 meeting. An appointment is likely at that meeting.
