Computer stolen from front desk of fitness center at Del Webb Spruce Creek

A Marion County sheriff’s deputy was called to the Del Webb Spruce Creek Country Club office on Monday after a computer went missing.

The deputy spoke with the country club’s manager at the facility, located at 12650 Del Webb Blvd. She said the computer apparently was stolen sometime between 7 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 a.m. Monday from the front desk of the country club’s fitness center, a sheriff’s office report states.

The manager told the deputy that she spoke with employee who closed the fitness center Sunday night and was told that the computer was still there when that person went home.

The manager also made contact with the country club’s IT department and confirmed the machine, valued at $200, wasn’t taken for repairs.
