Congressional candidate qualifies for ballot by petition

Democratic Congressional candidate David Koller announced Monday that his campaign has collected enough signed voter petitions to be placed on the November ballot.

Koller is the first candidate for the Congressional District 11 House of Representatives to qualify.

Koller is the only Democratic candidate running for Congressman Rich Nugent’s open seat.

On the Republican side, Congressman Daniel Webster, former Nugent staffer Justin Grabelle and Lake County attorney Mark Fisher are vying for the chance to run in November.
