Congressman Webster to speak at Veterans Day event in The Villages

Congressman Daniel Webster spoke earlier this year at Veterans Memorial Park.

A Veterans Day ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 at Veterans Memorial Park in The Villages.

Those present will be welcomed by President Richard Simpson as master of ceremonies. This year’s speaker will be Congressman Daniel Webster. Leo Brown will be singing and Kevin Selfridge and the Sounds of Scotland also will perform. 

Veterans’ Memorial Park is in Spanish Springs facing Lake Mira Mar between Paige Place and the golf cart bridge over U.S. Hwy. 27/441.

Those attending are asked to bring a chair. It is a pet-free park.
